Joanna Ho is a New York Times bestselling and award-winning author of many books for kids. She has received the Asian/Pacific American Award for Children’s Literature Honor, a Golden Kite Award, an Ezra Jack Keats Honor, and a Golden Poppy Award.

A daughter of Chinese and Taiwanese immigrants, she is passionate about introducing equity and multiculturalism into children's literature.

We won’t really know how reading has shaped our thinking and our identities until we engage in conversations about it.
